Anyone else think this year is going WAY too fast?! At the beginning of March I had the best time ever at the Australian Romance Readers Convention in Brisbane. Not only did I get to meet fabulous readers and hear the awesome keynote speakers - Rachael Vincent, Anne Gracie and Kristan Higgans - but I came home with my first ever published writing award. Thank you to everyone who voted for JILTED to win ARRA's Favourite Contemporary Romance of 2012! I'm still smiling.

Writing wise it's been a busy month. I've signed on to write two more books for Harlequin Australia and the deadlines are tight. But hey, I work well under pressure.  Hopefully! OUTBACK DREAMS will be out in October this year and OUTBACK BLAZE and OUTBACK GHOST look to follow in 2014.

In the meantime there are some fabulous other rural romances out now or soon - I'm currently reading Fiona Palmer's The Sunburnt Country and can't wait for my mate Cathryn Hein's Heartland!!
