This month I'm looking forward to The Australian Romance Readers Awards' Dinner in Sydney on the 22nd of March! While I've finalled in a couple of categories, which is a very, very happy thing, the most exciting thing is the chance to catch up with old friends and romance readers alike. I'll try and remember to take photos (even though I'm usually HOPELESS at stuff like that) and post to the blog. If you like reading romance and are not already a member of ARRA, I cannot recommend joining enough.
In other exciting news, yesterday I finished the first draft of THE ROAD TO HOPE, which is a loosely linked sequel to JILTED (my first rural romance). I really enjoyed writing this story and can't wait to share it with you sometime in early 2015. Watch this space or keep an eye on Facebook for further updates.
Next on my writing agenda is edits for OUTBACK GHOST (coming to you October 14). I'm really excited to revisit Adam and Stella's story, which concludes my Bunyip Bay series. They (being the good people at Harlequin) are starting to work on the cover for OUTBACK GHOST but if you missed it, I revealed OUTBACK BLAZE's cover this month on Facebook and in my newsletter. Check out my Books Page for the cover and blurb, extract coming soon! And if you're as excited as me, you can pre-order OUTBACK BLAZE now!
I can't tell you what I've been reading this month cos I'm reading books for the RITA (an American romance book award) and am not allowed to tell anyone what I'm judging, but I hope whatever you're reading, it's good. I always love to hear about what others are reading so feel free to let me know on Facebook!
